Hi there!
Back in 2019, I had just gotten engaged and I was trying to find a wedding invitation design that suited my vision. I am the biggest lover of florals and had our wedding gone ahead (that’s a whole different story… thanks, Covid!), it would have been a botanical paradise. And so I really wanted to incorporate that into our invitations, and give our guests a sneak peak into what the day would be like! I eventually found invitations I loved, but I was surprised at how difficult it had been to find something with colour and patterns.
I had been working in the corporate world at the time, and while I enjoyed what I did and loved the companies I worked for over the years, there was always a part of me that wanted to start a business and give reign to my creative side. It was something I daydreamed about but never got around to,... it just never seemed like the right time! My son’s birth in 2021 is what really prompted me to pursue my dream. I wanted to take my stationery obsession and my love of colours and turn it into something beautiful.
And so Embellished was born!
I remember all too clearly the stress of planning a wedding as a bride. So my goal when working with other couples now is not only to create unique and beautiful stationery for their special day, but also to make the whole process
as easy and stress-free as possible.
